ABOUT

Based in the Bay Area, Sarah deVito is a licensed Class-B General Contractor and an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Certified Inspector (ACI), with a background in architecture from UC Berkeley. Sarah has and continues to oversee light commercial and residential, design/build projects.  Sarah added home inspection to her list of skills, which wonderfully combines her love of building design with a commitment to helping others. Her appreciation for and experience with both historic and modern design gives her a unique perspective, which she applies to building inspections, while her work as an inspector informs her insight into design and construction practices. She has worked in the Bay Area, in Santa Fe, NM, and San Antonio, TX.  
 

Sarah is known for her approachable, patient, and solutions-oriented style. Whether she’s summarizing key findings on-site or answering follow-up questions days later, she ensures every client feels supported and empowered. She stays current on building codes and industry best practices through ongoing education.
